This course is organized to develop and enhance the abilities of early career researchers and faculty to undertake high quality research to efficiently and effectively design , manage, and publish research. Additionally, students taking this course will highly be able to secure RA positions with faculty at IBA.

CORTEX-Research Capacity Building Program is defined as enhancing the abilities of early career researchers and faculty to undertake and disseminate high-quality research efficiently and effectively.
-The primary objective of this course is to introduce the participants to business research methodology. The course will introduce participants to a variety of research approaches; to develop an understanding to effectively use these approaches in their own research, and prepare them to evaluate research done by others.
-An additional objective is to expose participants to some of the underlying premises upon which these research approaches are built. This will involve an introduction to the research process and philosophy of science.
-By the end of the course, participants should have developed a sound appreciation of the research process and a range of research approaches that can be applied to management problems. In addition, participants should have an appreciation for what constitutes "good" research so that they can constructively critique and make use of research done by others.
