In a transformative workshop organized by the Center for Innovation in Learning, Education, and Teaching (CILET) at SBS on December 8th, IBA faculty delved into "Teaching Creativity Soft Skills to Boost Student Innovation.

Foundations of Higher Education Teaching and Learning

The Center for Innovation in Learning & Ed-Transformation (CILET) at the School of Business Studies (SBS), IBA Karachi in collaboration with the Institute of Educational Development, The Aga Khan University (AKU), Pakistan, organized the first module of the Foundations of Higher Education.

On 21st September, 2023 CILET organized a session on “Integrating Digital Technology as part of course offerings” for the faculty. This session was conducted by Dr. Abdul Basit who pressed on the “absolute necessity” of bringing digital technology into businesses and educational institutes.

The two-day workshop was led by Dr. Waheed Umrani, Associate Professor, Department of Management, School of Business Studies, for faculty members with an interest in using case studies as a teaching tool in their classrooms.

This 90min introduction workshop was designed for IBA (Institute of Business Administration) faculty interested in discussing student engagement strategies at IBA.

The primary objective of this workshop is to introduce the participants to qualitative research methodology. It aims to introduce participants to a variety of qualitative research approaches, their underlying premises.

Securing EU Funding: Workshop by Dr. Javed Ahmed

To hear out Dr Javed Ahmed's journey of securing EU grants and discuss key issues for EU and EC on project selection, identification of suitable calls particularly for Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM).

CILET arranged an interactive session by Paul Dudley, the Academic Dean at iQualify UK on effective research methodologies.

This course is designed to familiarize participants with the potentials of using the multivariate analysis method PLS-SEM in their research.

Research Methodology for Business Research

This course is organized to develop and enhance the abilities of early career researchers and faculty to undertake high quality research to efficiently and effectively design , manage, and publish research.

This seminar provided the basic understanding of scientific approaches to literature reviews and a practical demonstration of Bibliometric approach which is widely used to structurally analyze the body of literature.
